Ingredients

450 g diced onions frozen
200 g rapeseed oil
350 g soy mince TVP, dry
40 g vegetable bouillon powder (no gluten or cellery)
6 g unsalted minced meat seasoning
5 g unsalted grill seasoning
10 g paprika powder
175 g tomato paste
50 g soy sauce
6 g iodised salt
2,5 l water
75 g all-purpose wheat flour
0,5 l water

Grandma’s brown sauce

Portion size: 200 grams

Instructions

Heat the oil in a pot and saute the onions.

Lower the heat and add the soy mince, dry seasonings, soy sauce and tomato paste. Stir for a moment.

Add 2.5 litres of water in small batches and boil for a moment.

Mix the flour and rest of the water into a slurry and pour slowly into the pot, stirring vigorously. Let boil for approximately five minutes while stirring occasionally.

Serve with boiled or mashed potatoes.

Tip! You can also add the dry soy mince into the finished sauce.
